Tottenham morning news: Kramaric targeted; blow in Giovinco chase

We bring you all the latest updates from Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Andrej Kramaric from HNK Rijeka, according to the Daily Star.

Kramaric has been in fine form since the start of the season and he has a £4 million release fee in his contract.

It seems that Spurs are hoping to secure him in a cheap deal and they feel that he could be the answer to their goalscoring problems.

The Lilywhites' attempts to sign Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco appear to have proved fruitless... for now, at least.

The diminutive Italian international has been tracked by Spurs for some time, according to reports, but the player believes that no deal will be concluded in January.

Giovinco did, however, admit that a move could go through next summer if he doesn't receive more first-team action at Juve soon.

“There’s something wrong, that’s obvious,” Giovinco told Sky Italia.

“The whole season has been a bit like that, so we’ll see what to do. I don’t think I’ll move in January, we’ll see in June.”
