You can take a Google Maps tour of Bioware's studio

BioWare Studio Google Maps

The Dragon Age and Mass Effect developers' studio is open for tours through Google Maps.

If you've ever wanted to see the inside the studios of one of the game's industry's most successful developers, now's your chance. BioWare (Mass Effect, Dragon Age) have opened up their Edmonton office to photographer Kyle Geisbrecht to take shots for a virtual tour.

The tour functions just like Google Maps does for outdoor exploring. You can click to move forwards, backwards, left and right. Tilt the camera to look around, and even zoom in on all of those awards the studio has won.

There's no chance of a sneek peek at BioWare's next projects however, as the tour was arranged by BioWare's HR department, so it's a fairly 'guided' tour.

Giersbrecket revealed that BioWare are using the tour as part of their efforts to coax people to the studio. You can take the tour yourself over here. Thanks, GameSpot.

BioWare is currently working on some major pojects, including Mass Effect 4. The new Dragon Age game - Dragon Age: Inquisition - launches next week on 18th November in the US and 21st November in the UK for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
