This week's new Xbox games

Sunset Overdrive E3 Herker 1

Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles salute the final week of October's releases with Sunset Overdrive, Lords of the Fallen, WWE 2K15 and more.

The final week of October, and then it's time to look at the November lineup of game releases. But, before then, we've still got a few big name games coming out this week.

First up there's Sunset Overdrive, which launches today. It's Insomniac Games' latest creation that mixes up third-person shooting with rail grinds, wall-running, and bouncing off of objects you wouldn't expect to produce a bounce. It's set during an apocalyptic event involving mutants spawned by a new energy drink. The game has been quite highly anticipated and it's an Xbox One exclusive.

Lords of The Fallen also launches today, and is very much a different game to Sunset Overdrive. It's more of a Dark Souls-esque hack and slash ARPG, with rather lovely looking graphics.

The Xbox 360 will see the release of WWE 2K15 today, along with MX Vs ATV: Supercross. And Assassin's Creed fans in the US can get their hands on Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection, which bundles AC: Liberation HD, AC III, and AC IV: Black Flag together.
