A game developer's personal project sees him recreate Arsenal F.C.'s home ground.

Arsenal Football Club's Emirates Stadium in Holloway, London has been masterfully recreated using CryEngine, a game engine that's been used to make games such as the original Far Cry, Crysis, and ArcheAge.

The CryEngine map of the stadium has been built by Gökhan Karadayi, a Turkish environment artist currently working for TaleWorlds, the devs making the Mount & Blade sequel.

The Emirates Stadium is a personal project of Karadayi's, and he has previously posted about it in the polycount forums earlier this year. He updated his post yesterday with the YouTube video showing the final finished version of the stadium.

Check out the showcase video of the stadium, and some screenshots below. Thanks, Kotaku.
