The third instalment to The Witcher games series reveals its intro next week, a few months ahead of its scheduled release.

CD Projekt RED, developers of The Witcher games, are teasing the upcoming reveal of the cinematic intro for The Wither 3: Wild Hunt next week.

A website shows a countdown timer until the cinematic’s world premiere on 24th October, so you’ve still got just under a week to wait. A couple of wallpaper images are on the site too, which show a dim-looking setting in a field with a mountain in the distance. One image can be described as grim, with the other being less grim… oh, and there’s a person on horseback with a bird flying beside them too.

Despite the cinematic premiere next week you’ll still have to wait until 24th February 2015 to play The Witcher 3.
