This season has seen Manchester United get some flack for letting young players leave the club - but Louis van Gaal has also included many in first-team training as well as matchday squads.
The likes of Tyler Blackett, Tom Thorpe and Paddy McNair have made the grade this season whilst Saidy Janko and James Wilson have been regulars in first-team training.
Another who is knocking on the door of the first-team is Belgian born Brazilian youth international Andreas Pereira.
The midfielder is highly rated at the club and was on the bench for recent games against West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers - not to mention playing a half against MK Dons in a League Cup game he would prefer to forget.
But Pereira, who recently decided to play for Brazil at the Toulon tournament in the summer, is certainly enjoying himself in training with the United first-team - including their big name newbies.
Manchester United signed plenty of players this summer, but it is a pair who cost a combined fee of £88.1 million from Spanish football this summer.
Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera, a player Pereira has been compared to in style, are the players in question - and the young prospect gushed about the pair to the official Manchester United website this week:
"Everyone's been really good but the best in training, for me, I really admire Angel Di Maria. He's very good in training and in matches as well. Ander Herrera too. For the way he plays and speaks with the players, he's an example. And he plays in my position.
"I can think back, a couple of weeks ago, to when Di Maria scored an unbelievable goal. We did some finishing after training with the forwards and he scored a brilliant strike. He controlled it and bounced the ball into the top corner. Honestly, it was incredible!"
Pereira will now hope to follow in their footsteps, straight into the Manchester United first-team.
