Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is recognised for his astonishing display against Everton, and so are Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas for their roles in Chelsea’s home win against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has been voted as the most impressive player in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Spain international was crucial in the Red Devils’ 2-1 victory over Everton at Old Trafford. De Gea saved a penalty in the first half and made two world-class stops late in the contest to ensure that United head into the two-week international break on a winning note.
Chelsea also won on Sunday, getting the better of London rivals Arsenal 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Eden Hazard opened the scoring for the Blues, while Cesc Fabregas played a great ball for the second goal – and both have been voted in the top five best players for Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen was voted fourth for his goal in the 1-0 win against Southampton at White Hart Lane, while Diafra Sakho came fifth, having scored in West Ham United’s 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
