Aaron Ramsey tweets apology to Arsenal fans

Aaron Ramsey has apologised to Arsenal fans for the club's poor display against Dortmund.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has apologised to fans on Twitter for the club's lacklustre display against Borussia Dortmund.

The Gunners were beaten 2-0 in Germany in  the Champions League group stage fixture but the score margin could easily have been far higher had it not been for wayward finishing from the hosts.

Welsh international Ramsey, a usually consistent performer and the matchwinner at the Westfalenstadion last season, had a game to forget individually.

He was substituted off after just 62 minutes and failed to register a single shot on goal, and completing only 68 per cent of his passes.

To his credit however, Ramsey has come out and accepted the club were below par; most Arsenal players it can be expected, will be avoiding Twitter for a short while.
