Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles get some new releases and DLC this week.

Last week’s Xbox releases saw the launch of The Golf Club, which is a golf game developed by the studio who were originally set to create the next Tiger Woods PGA Tour game, before it all fell through. Most notably, Blizzard’s Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition was released, which now sits atop the Xbox One and Xbox 360 UK charts. Finally, we’re seeing some movement in those charts.

This week we have a few more releases in the form of the new Madden NFL 15 game, which is actually available to pre-download on Xbox One now according to Major Nelson’s blog. The second Dark Souls 2 DLC, Crown of the Old Iron King, is available today on the Xbox Marketplace too, and Metro Redux is available to get your hands on also.

The World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition Combat Ready Starter Pack gets its release this week for European players, following its 12th August release in the US.

As with previous weeks we’ll leave Minecraft on here until an official announcement about its release is made. However, it’s worth noting there were reports last week that the PS4 version of the game didn’t pass certification, so it’s unlikely we’ll see an Xbox One version before next week – but hey, stranger things have happened, so we’ll keep you updated.

This week’s Xbox releases are as follows:

Xbox One

Minecraft – August 2014

Metro Redux – 26th August US and 29th August Europe

Madden NFL 15 – 26 August US and 29th August Europe

Xbox 360

Darks Souls 2: Crown of the Old Iron King DLC – 26th August

Madden NFL 15 – 26 August US and 29th August Europe

World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition Combat Ready Starter Pack – 29th August Europe
