Japan’s Akihabara disctrict in Tokyo has displayed a couple of the new console Transformers toys.

A couple of weeks ago we showed you the new line of transformers toys being created that look like old games consoles. Well, Kotaku has found some photos of the actual PlayStation Transformers toy.

Radio Kaikan, a Japanese website, has attended an event in Tokyo’s Akihabara, which is a district that mainly houses shops for all things ‘otaku’, such as video games, manga and anime etc.

Optimus Prime was on display in his Transformer and PlayStation forms – at 19cm tall, he’s rather small, but doesn’t mean he’s any less impressive. Take a look at the images courtesy of Radio Kaikan below.

Mega Drive Megatron was also on display.
