Nate Drake’s film debut to replace third Amazing Spider-Man movie.

After hearing King of Kong director Seth Gordon confirm that an Uncharted movie was back on track, Sony have now set a date of June 10th 2016 for the film to starting airing in theatres.

According to the Hollywood Reporter the Uncharted film will replace the third installment in the Amazing Spider Man series which has been pushed back to 2018 in favour of The Sinister Six, a spin-off movie featuring Spider-Man villains

With the Uncharted movie set to begin filming in 2015, work is already underway for the return of the video game series to PS4. Devs Naughty Dog have recently stated they are aiming for 1080p and 60fps with Uncharted 4.

The prospect of remastered versions of the existing Uncharted games to be brought to PS4 (in a similar way to The Last of Us) is something that isn’t being ruled out either.
