Manchester United transfer news: Doubt over Vidal, two deals before US tour?

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Manchester United.

Manchester United’s planned deal for Arturo Vidal has hit a potential stumbling block.

United were thought to be close on a big money deal for the Chilean star, but the deal could now take longer than expected.

United are thought to value the 27-year-old at a considerably smaller price than Juventus are demanding.

MUTV present Paddy Crerand has hinted that Manchester United could make two signings before their United States tour.

United’s first game in the USA comes against David Beckham’s former team LA Galaxy on July 23.

“Manchester United could make two signings before they fly out for the pre-season tour of USA,” said Crerand.

United have welcomed the next batch of youth stars to sign professional deals with the club.

Seven youngsters have signed professional deals and will feature for the under-21 side when the season gets under way.

The players are; Kieran O’Hara, Ryan McConnell, Callum Evans, Josh Harrop, Sean Goss, Matt Willock and Ashley Fletcher.
