Bundesliga transfer latest: Cuadrado linked with Bayern as giants eye Burnley man

All the latest summer transfer news from the Bundesliga...

With the World Cup on the agenda of most teams around the world, it's no surprise to see the stars in Brazil linked with big moves. Bayern Munich surely won't be too busy this summer having coasted to the Bundesliga title under Pep Guardiola last season, but they have been linked with a blockbuster swoop to sign Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian has been one of the star players of the World Cup so far, yet his potential arrival in Bavaria could spell the end for either Arjen Robben or Xherdan Shaqiri, who are both attracting interest from Premier League sides.

Hannover have seemingly ended their interest in Augsburg full back Matthias Ostrzolek having swooped to sign Chile international Miiko Albornoz from Malmo. The 23-year-old is currently in Brazil with Jorge Sampaoli's side, but Hannover have moved quickly to agree a deal to bring him to Germany. Albornoz has been impressive in Sweden, and the Bundesliga outfit clearly saw enough in his game to offer him a three year deal.

“He is a very talented player,” sporting director Dirk Hufner said. “The fact he was selected in the World Cup squad confirms his potential.”

Away from the World Cup, one of the stranger rumours to surface today has been that both Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg are eyeing up moves for Burnley hitman Danny Ings. The former Bournemouth striker fired the Clarets to the Premier League having scored 26 goals, but has just one year left on his contract - sparking interest from a number of sides.

Whilst Premier League clubs have been linked, the two Bundesliga sides suggested can offer European football - and with a rumoured £7m price tag on Ings' head, bids could be on their way from Germany.
