The Halo 5: Guardians beta will begin in December and The Master Chief collection combines all the previous Halos on one disc.

If you’re a Halo fan you’re gonna want to get yourself in the new Halo 5: Guardians beta, right? Well, with the announcement of The Master Chief Collection from 343 Industries, it was revealed that you can have your place in the beta by buying a copy once it’s release on 11 November 2014.

The Master Chief Collection combines Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 all on one Xbox One disc. Each instalment to the series will be remastered in full 1080p, running at 60fps, and you’ll have the ability to switch between the original and newly-spruced-up graphics.

Everything in the games will be unlocked, so you can jump right in to your favourite moments throughout the series, or experience it all at your leisure if you’ve never played the games before, all in preparation for Halo 5 next year.

All four of the games will run on dedicated servers for the multiplayer, and will also run on their original multiplayer engines, which should keep the experience as you remember it, according to 343 Industries.
