25 days to go until the Transfer Window opens. Here are the big stories you need to know...
Eliaquim Mangala wants Manchester United, not Manchester City
Porto defender Eliaquim continues to be linked to the Premier League, and has been talking about how his proposed deal to Manchester City failed to materialise in January.
"There were discussions with City, but it fell though because the two clubs could not reach an agreement," he told The Guardian.
The centre-back may however not be too upset. The same paper report that Mangala is holding out for Manchester United instead, claiming he has told friends the Red Devils are 'of a greater status' to City.
Jose Mourinho admits Cesc Fabregas liking
As Cesc Fabregas continues to be linked to Chelsea, Jose Mourinho has done little to distance the club from rumours.
The club's manager has stated his intention to explore bringing the former Arsenal midfielder to the club.
He is quote by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo as saying: ""I think he's anxious to get out of Barcelona and very motivated by the idea of returning to England. I believe it's pretty clear. I'm interested to study the situation."
Widespread reports claiming a deal is done look like they are wide of the mark, but Chelsea are currently the favourites for his signature.
Alberto Moreno to follow Emre Can to Liverpool
Liverpool announced the signing of Emre Can on Thursday from Bayer Leverkusen, and another could be next.
Reports in Spain claim that defender Alberto Moreno has agreed personal terms on a five-year deal with the Reds.
Liverpool and Sevilla are still said to be negotiating a price in the region of £18 million, but once this is agreed there is expected to be little in the way of roadblocks, despite late rumoured interest from Tottenham in the left-back.
Southampton's Rickie Lambert sealed a £4 million transfer to Liverpool earlier this week.
