Following the big reveal of the newest Mortal Kombat game, Warner Bros have shed some more light on the beat-em-up, revealing key art and the full logo.

So, yesterday was quite a big day, with the official reveal of Mortal Kombat X and its brutal announcement trailer. Following on from that, Warner Bros. have given us some more details about the game.

In a press release Warner Bros. confirmed that Mortal Kombat X will be released in 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Furthermore there will be new characters and game modes running on a brand new graphics engine. Warner Bros. says the game ‘combines cinematic presentation’ alongside ‘all new gameplay’ and will present the ‘most brutal Kombat experience ever.’

A ‘fully-connected experience’ has also been mentioned, which ‘launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy,’ say Warner Bros.

Each character will have multiple variations which affects strategy and fighting style, and there’s an ‘original story’ that showcases characters such as Sub-Zero and Scorpion, also ‘introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil.’ More details will be revealed about the game at E3 next week.
