Terry Gibson believes that Luis Suarez will be on Real Madrid’s shortlist this summer.

Real Madrid are likely to look to bring in Luis Suarez over the summer according to La Liga expert, Terry Gibson.

Gibson, who was speaking to TalkSPORT, says that Madrid will have no problems in finding the £70 million required to prise Liverpool’s most treasured asset away from Anfield in the summer.

He said: “Real Madrid look to spend that sort of money every year. That’s even quite cheap for them.

“They go for a Galactico every year. They keep bringing in attacking players, I’m not sure they need anymore.

“It’s the Real Madrid way though. They don’t look to bring in too many players who are defenders.”

If Suarez does join Madrid then he will complete one of the most devastating front-lines ever seen in world football.

He would partner up with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale to form an attacking trio that would be the envy of every other club across the globe.

Suarez has been in scintillating form for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season, notching 30 goals in the league and topping the Premier League scoring charts, with ten goals more than his strike-partner, Daniel Sturridge, who is his nearest challenger.

To lose the Uruguayan would be a massive blow for Liverpool, who have made huge strides under Rodgers’ leadership this season and may still claim the title, if they manage to win the remainder of their fixtures.

His partnership with Sturridge up-front has been one of the main reasons behind their success this campaign and he has been an integral figure in allowing Rodgers’ style of football to be effective.

If he was to move away from Anfield, it would leave Liverpool with a huge void to fill and damage their hopes of challenging for the title again next season.
