Piers Morgan: Arsenal man is a 'flat-track bully' and Sunderland were 'diabolical'

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan had plenty to say (or should that be tweet) during the Gunners' match against Sunderland.

If Arsenal are playing, you can be sure Piers Morgan will have something to say about it.  And today was no different, as the television host and avid Gooner took to Twitter to bring his own blend of punditry to proceedings.

Arsenal ran out comfortable 4-1 winners against the Black Cats, with Morgan seemingly not impressed with Gus Poyet's side, calling them "diabolical" with their defence "plunging new depths of hideousness".

But he was not impressed with Olivier Giroud either, who may have scored a brace but who was deemed a "flat-track bully" by Morgan, who said the Frencham's goal record against big teams is "shocking".

So there you have it: another afternoon in the life of a Twitter-happy Arsenal fan.

The Gunners will be pleased with their day's work, and the fact that they remain just a point behind leaders Chelsea who snatched a last-gasp victory at home to Everton in the early kick-off.

Next up is Stoke City away, and Morgan will be hope the "flat-track bully" and his teammates get another three points in a title race that may go down to a photo-finish.
