Torino approach Watford man

FIFA agent Giovanni Bia has confirmed that Torino have made an approach to sign Watford full back Marco Davide Faraoni.

Watford are reportedly determined to keep hold of Italian talent Marco Davide Faraoni but the player's representative has admitted that Torino are trying to sign him.

Faraoni joined Watford last July on a five-year deal from Serie A sister club Udinese and he has become a popular figure at Vicarage Road.

While his English employers are determined that Faraoni's future lies in Hertfordshire, a number of Italian clubs are circling hoping to lure the 22-year-old back to his homeland.

In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Faraoni's agent Giovanni Bia revealed that Torino are leading the chasing pack.

"At the moment there is an interest from Torino, but I also think that Udinese don't want to see him go definitively," he explained.

There have been suggestions that Udinese could buy Faraoni back - a deal that would be eased by the unusual link between the clubs.

Tuscan Serie A strugglers Livorno are also said to be tracking Faraoni and could launch a bid as they look to strengthen for a relegation dogfight.
