Another Gunner strikes the 2-0 sign in front of a camera lens, following the notorious gesture Walcott pulled to Tottenham Hotspur fans yesterday…
Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur by a convincing two goals to nil on Saturday, January 4 at the Emirates Stadium to secure their presence in the draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup and both before and during the match there was no love lost between the two great rivals from North London.
The incident that most riled Spurs fans yesterday, however, was not the first goal from Santi Cazorla, nor the effort from Tomas Rosicky that doubled Arsene Wenger's side's lead, but a gesture from Theo Walcott who signed '2' with one hand and '0' with his other, directly at the away section, as he was being stretched off the field.
The Englishman was then subject to a vocal shellacking and was fortunate to avoid missiles as a handful of coins were thrown in his direction.
Walcott, though, was not the only one who made the sign.
Wojciech Szczesny, who was not part of the match-day squad as the Pole was rested while Lukasz Fabianski started and Emiliano Viviano made the bench, also got in on the action, via Instagram…
