Arsenal latest: 'Concrete move' for next Ozil and Sanabria agrees to leave

Olivier Giroud has been speaking about his desire to play as much football as possible this season. The Frenchman has suffered for form recently as the toll of playing every game begins to catch up with him.

Recently Nicklas Bendtner was given the nod against Hull City to alleviate some of the pressure on the striker - but he says he is more than happy to excuse the rest and play through it:

“It did feel strange and I was a bit frustrated because I really want to play every game. But the boss said he had reason to leave me on the bench because it is better to have a rest sometimes, though I’m obviously just really happy that the team won the game.”

Tonny Sanabria has agreed a move to his new club after rejecting a new contract at Barcelona. The 17-year-old Paraguayan starlet has been linked with the likes of Roma and Arsenal this winter after catching the eye for the youngsters.

Spanish media seem to know he’s leaving, but not where he is going.

Arsenal have received their date for the FA Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur. The game will be played at 17:15 on Saturday January 4th.

Rafa Benitez has been talking about the upcoming game with Arsenal in the Champions League with his new team Napoli. The Spaniard stated:

"We have confidence in ourselves. Everyone has the ability to see things in their own way. Maybe. Arsenal will play with both the possession that dividing the break. We shall attack but always with the right balance. Attacking by pressing as we did at the beginning of season. We will try to score right away, then we will see what the result of the other game.”

Arsenal will reportedly make a concrete offer for Hamburg midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in December or January. The 19-year-old has been dubbed the ‘new Ozil’ by some commentators and his agent stated today:

"We know of Arsenal's interest. I think they will make a concrete move in December or January. Hakan and Hamburg has been a success story - our wish is that he stays here and continues to evolve."
