VIDEO: 14-year-old 'new Messi' reportedly on way to Manchester City

Malaga youngster Brahim Abdelkader Diaz is set to move to England rather than Barcelona who are also after his services.

It's always daunting being mentioned in the same breath as the current Ballon d'Or holder Lionel Messi but judging from this video, Diaz has the ability to back the claim up.

'I'll repeat, our differences were nothing to do with the contract,' he is quoted to have said. 'I've got three years here and I'm relaxed and I'm not looking to leave. I feel privileged and if I could, I would retire here.

'I'm not going to talk about the differences between us because it's a personal matter, but I can say we have a great relationship. I'll never forget who the president here is and I know he's in charge.'

In the past couple weeks alone, Ramos - valued at €40m by transfermarkt.co.uk - had been linked to Manchester City (by The People) and Chelsea (by The Mirror), with speculation claiming that the player was not happy to have been criticised by manager Carlo Ancelotti.

A World Cup winner with Spain, Ramos, 27, remains one of the most exquisite ball-playing defenders in European football and would have certainly added great quality alongside either Vincent Kompany at the Etihad Stadium or John Terry at Stamford Bridge.
