Would Liverpool swap two Italian internationals for Suarez?

Juventus are reportedly considering a transfer exchange involving two of their own players and Liverpool's main man

Juventus have been linked with Luis Suarez before, indeed many of the world's top clubs have been due to the fact Suarez is an incredible talent. He looked set to leave Liverpool in the summer, but has now seemed to settle down and is enjoying his football in an in-form Liverpool side.

Brendan Rodgers was adamant in the summer that Liverpool would not sell the Uruguayan and they resisted the advances from Arsenal. Now Luis seems happier at Anfield and they have had one of their best starts to a season for a number of years, it would be ludicrous for them to even consider selling him now.

Despite his father Paul being the manager at Bloomfield Road, Ince has declared his desire to leave Blackpool through his representative Chris Nathaniel, which will alert Premier League sides in January.

'Thomas now feels he is ready for Premier League football on a regular basis – whether that comes in January or at the end of the season,' he is quoted to have said by The Mirror last month. 'He is grateful for the chance Blackpool have given him but he now wants to step up a level.'

With an £8m bid accepted in the summer from Cardiff, Liverpool could certainly afford to bring the 21-year-old back to Merseyside. Manager Brendan Rodgers has been known to favour playing with pacey wingers, as seen during his successful spell with Swansea City, where he revitalised the careers of Scott Sinclair and Nathan Dyer, and Ince certainly fits that mould.

Ince is now ready to make the step up to the Premier League, and whilst Liverpool will have to pay a lot more than the £250,000 compensation fee they received for the winger, Ince has the potential to form a dangerous combination on the flanks with Raheem Sterling in the future for the Reds.

Whilst Liverpool fans may be hoping for a bigger name to join the ranks alongside Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez, the opportunity to bring in a talented, young English winger may be too good to pass up for Rodgers.

image: © The Express have reported that Juventus are planning a cheeky swap deal. It would involve Claudio Marchisio and Leonardo Bonucci being exchanged for Suarez. Liverpool are said to be interested in the Italian pair and that is why it has led to Juve' proposing this deal. Marchisio is valued at £25 million and Monaco are also said to be interested in signing the midfielder. Bonucci is valued at £15 million, making the value of the deal £40 million which would not be enough to convince Liverpool to sell.

I see it as a way of Juventus showing that their players are not for sale either. They have pretty much said "well if you like our two players then you will have to part with your best player in order to secure them." The 'Old Lady' know that Liverpool don't want to part with Suarez so they are sending out a warning showing that they have no intention of selling their players. An eventual deal is unlikely, and will now probably see Liverpool look elsewhere for reinforcements.
