Collymore questions Arsenal credentials on Twitter

Football pundit and radio commentator Stan Collymore has questioned the current praise Arsenal are attracting.

The Gunners are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League with a five point gap and they have played some decent football in the Champions League.

The team spirit, tactics and general feeling surrounding the North London club at the moment is one of positivity and centred on the very realistic chance the club can end their silverware drought this season.

Former Liverpool and Aston Villa star Stan Collymore used his TalkSport radio show Call Collymore to question comparisons between the way Arsenal are playing their football this season similarly to German and European champions Bayern Munich.

Those comparisons seem to have been generated between a mixture of general fan chatter on forums and just casual conversation, alongside questions within the media over whether Arsenal can seriously push for the Premier League title this season.

Needless to say Call Collymore is a debate show so it’s no surprise he chose to air such views, especially after an important win for Arsenal over the weekend against a team that has been breathing down their neck in the form of Liverpool.

We’d love to hear your thoughts Arsenal fans? What are you expecting by the end of the season?
