Chelsea fans react to Traore signing on Twitter: Just like Januzaj!

Chelsea's latest recruit has been likened by the club's supporters to Manchester United's fast-rising forward Adnan Janujaz…

The break-out October that Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj enjoyed at Manchester United, together with the press acclaim and fan excitement that he generated, emulated the reception that Bertrand Traore received during his particularly exquisite pre-season performances for Chelsea whilst on trial.

A ten-capped Burkino Faso international and not yet even 18, Mourinho has been delighted with Traore's commitment to a four and a half year deal (subject to a work permit) and called the player a 'great talent', as well as a 'kid with a bright future' and 'one of the best talents of his age'.

Mourinho's enthusiasm has been echoed by the club's supporters, who believe they have the next Januzaj on their hands with attacking midfielder Traore.

Januzaj has completed just 267 minutes of competitive action on a Premier League pitch this season but he already has statistics that are on par with accomplished players at top of the table teams. He has an 81% passing completion rate, wins 60% of his tackles, attracts a foul once every 15 minutes due to his close control with the football, has a 50% shooting accuracy, a return of three chances and a brace of goals.

The way that Chelsea fans are talking, though, they believe that it will not be long before their latest recruit matches these stats!

What do you think… is Traore capable of surpassing Januzaj's current level? Will he get game time at Chelsea or benefit from loan spells? Who has the better teenager? Let us know in the comment section below!
