Tottenham Hotspur latest: Lennon and Adebayor injury update

All the latest Tottenham Hotspur news ahead of tomorrow night's visit to the home of Inter Milan.

Tottenham play the second leg of their Europa League last 16 clash tomorrow night, in a far better position than they could have envisioned, 3-0 up from the first leg. An away goal would virtually kill the tie off and Tottenham will be going all out to score early on.

There is positive news on the injury front, with both Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor recovering from injuries which kept them out of the weekend defeat against Liverpool. Lennon picked up a slight hamstring strain in the 3-0 win at home to Inter, while Adebayor has not featured since picking up a knee injury in the North London Derby.

There is slightly more pressure on Lennon to be match fit due to Gareth Bale's suspension, after he picked up a yellow card for diving in the first leg.

The injured trio of Younes Kaboul, Clint Dempsey and Sandro remain unavailable, but there are places in the traveling squad for youngsters Tom Carroll and Shaq Coulthirst who both featured on the bench at Anfield. The full squad can be seen here.

Andre Villas-Boas is confident heading into the tie, stating that aside from Bale's suspension, Spurs are at full strength. He is not taking their first leg lead for granted, stating: "I will not rest anyone, it is an important game for us and I will not take anything for granted. The result from the first leg is not enough."

However Inter Milan's boss Andrea Stramaccioni says he doubts his side have much of a chance, and they simply want to win the game on the night to give their fans a good show.

Tottenham have taken precautionary measures and presented traveling fans with good advice on how to stay safe in Italy after their fans were attacked in both Rome and Lyon by right-wing groups. An article in the Mail has an interesting look at the two incidents and how a repeat of them cannot be allowed to happen.

The Metro have followed up on reports Joao Moutinho will be available for transfer from Porto at the right price this summer by claiming Spurs are likely to bid. The paper claim Heurelho Gomes, Bongani Khumalo, Danny Rose, David Bentley, John Bostock will be sold to raise cash, and a saving will be made on William Gallas' wages with him unlikely to be offered a new deal.

Reports in Spain have continued to insist that Gonzalo Higuain is to be offered to Tottenham this summer, in either an outright deal or as part of a sweetener by Madrid in a bid for Gareth Bale. We have taken a look at the striker's talents and why Spurs should use the finances at their disposal to secure the talented Argentine, with him expected to exit the club either way this summer.

And finally, the hard work of Tottenham youth coach Chris Ramsey has been recognised by his appointment as assistant head coach for England's under-20 World Cup side in Turkey later this summer. He has previously held the position of manager, but will this time work under former Leicester boss Peter Taylor, and says he is looking forward to getting back involved.
