Emmanuel Adebayor says he is 'physically exhausted' after the African Nations Cup, which won't be music to the ears of Spurs fans, hoping he could slip right into the side with Jermain Defoe injured. 

"I think I have done my best and physically I’m exhausted, but that’s football. It’s a tough one for all the players, for myself, for everyone, but life goes on," he said.

Tottenham's on loan goalkeeper Jordan Archer was attacked while playing for Wycombe Wanderers last night. A Gillingham fan climbed on his back before being wrestled off and was promptly arrested. You can watch the video of the incident here, and see how some of his Spurs teammates reacted.
