Which five of Arsenal's brightest talents 21 or under could use a spell away from the club to gain vital first-team experience?
Arsenal already have plenty of talented young players currently out on loan, in fact overall the club has 16 players 24 or under currently playing at another club to gain first team experience.
While Arsene Wenger has always tried to give youth a chance this usually comes in the League Cup. With that avenue coming to its conclusion in February chances for his Young Gunners to shine become sparse.
Although the new under-21 league has its obvious benefits the under-19s could tumble out of the NextGen Series next week again giving less opportunity for some of their young talent to shine.
So which five should they consider sending out on loan in January?
One of the talented Germans at the club; and he certainly has caught the eye with his performances for the under-21 team.
He looked seriously impressive during his cameo against Reading and while he will likely feature against Bradford City in the League Cup other first team opportunities will be hard to come by.
Sending him out on loan to another Premier League team is not beyond the realms of possibility and would give him valuable first team experience ahead of what looks like a promising career.
The clubs NextGen captain had a spell at Notts County at the end of last season and made just two appearances. At 19 years old the athletic midfielder could use another opportunity to shine in the Football League.
Despite injury Swiss defender Hajrovic was key in helping Barnet avoid relegation last season; making 10 appearances for The Bees after arriving in January. A similar deal this year could be in the pipeline for the promising under-17 World Cup winner.
Another talented player who has flirted with the Arsenal first-team in recent times has not yet enjoyed a loan spell.
At 20-years-old the time is coming for him to either make the step up or move on from North London. A move away to prove himself on a regular basis in English football could put doubters to rest.
Recently called-up to the Jamaica squad for a friendly with Costa Rica the powerful left-sided player could benefit from a loan spell in the Football League. Others such as Sanchez Watt, Craig Eastmond and Conor Henderson are currently doing so and following in their footsteps would not be a bad idea.
Do you think any of these five would benefit from a loan-spell?
