Five Premier League betting tips ahead of the weekend’s action.
Chelsea to beat Arsenal at 9/4 with Betfred
Normally it would be very difficult o bet against Arsenal playing at home, especially considering their record this season. However, Chelsea have been efficient but not flamboyant away from home with one win and one draw from two matches. They are yet to concede a goal away from home which suggests they will try and make this match scrappy before stealing a winner late on.
Before you dismiss this tip, take a look at Fulham’s home record this season. They have played and won two matches scoring eight goals in the process and not conceding a single goal. This is the best home record of all the teams in the league. Manchester city have struggled to get more than one point away from home and the confidence of Fulham could be enough to secure another vital point.
Liverpool to win both halves against Norwich at 2/1 with Blue Square
Liverpool seem to have turned a corner under Brendan Rodgers. The performance of the team has been superb in their last three matches in all competitions and they should have more than enough to see off Norwich. Norwich are yet to win at home with two draws which suggests they are vulnerable to pressure. If Liverpool retain possession and create chances then there is only one winner.
Swansea City to beat Stoke City at 7/2 with BetVictor
This is simply too good a price to turn down considering some of the football that Swansea have played so far this season. They have won one match and lost one match away from home scoring five goals and conceding two. Stoke is notoriously one of the most difficult places to go and try to get a result but they are yet to win at home. If Swansea can control the pace of the game then this is a very long price on such a good side.
Gareth Bale to score against Manchester United at 5/1 with William Hill
Spurs winger Gareth Bale is a long price to score at any point in the match against Manchester United. This is great value when considering that Bale is integral to the majority of Tottenham attacks. Bale is also a key player when it comes to set pieces in and around the penalty area. His pace could also see him running in behind the United defence frequently making this one of the best value prices this weekend.
