North Sea Partners, a private investment bank, has announced that Steve Paras has joined the firm in London as a Managing Director and head of European Capital Markets.

As head of European Capital Markets for North Sea, Paras brings extensive product and market experience across leveraged syndicated loans, bridge loans, high yield debt, and mezzanine debt.
Prior to joining North Sea, he was a Managing Director and head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Leveraged Capital Markets Desk in London. Previously, Paras was employed at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. in New York for 14 years most recently as Managing Director and head of the US Leveraged Loan Capital Markets Desk. Mr. Paras graduated with a BA in Economics from Hobart College, earned an MBA from the University of Rochester Simon School, and also holds a CFA.
