Crédit Agricole S.A. Hires Head Of Financial Operations

Olivier Bélorgey has recently been appointed Head of Financial Operations of Crédit Agricole S.A., reporting to Bernard Delpit, Group Finance Director.

Bélorgey began his career at Crédit Lyonnais in 1991 within the Capital Markets division where, after having developed option pricing models, he became Head of French bond options trading.

In 1995, he joined the Assets/Liabilities Management (ALM) unit of the Finance department in order to manage the bank’s balance sheet interest rate risk. In 1999 he was appointed Head of professional retail clients with responsibility for a group of bank branches before joining the Human Resources department as Head of HR policies in 2001.

He joined Calyon as Head of Management Control after its creation in 2004. Bélorgey has been Head of ALM at Calyon since 2007 and of CPM since March 2009.

Born in 1964, Bélorgey is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and has an advanced degree (DEA) in Condensed Matter Physics and a PhD.
