Any loser can take clients out on a freebie or junket, but your average credit guy these days has international work experience, and is post-graduate qualified. Your average FX trader, though, still thinks loafers and square-faced watches are cool, and that Burberry is the height of culture!
Nearly sixteen years of mostly bull markets have bred the most incapable front-office staff in the history of investment banking. Hopefully the next major market readjustment will bring with it the largest 'spring clean' of free-loading, free-riding front office staff ever!!'.
