Bank of America - Ops, IT Jobs To Be Cut

Reuters reports that Bank of America has confirmed that it will cut 900 operations and IT jobs in the fourth quarter in order to further save on costs.

The bank is also thought likely to cut more technology and operations jobs next year. It has already cut equity sales, trading and research positions in New York and San Francisco this year and has reduced headcount to 134,135 from 143,824 12 months ago.
