Liverpool midfielder Emre Can says he has not signed an agreement with Juventus.
Emre Can has attempted to clarify his future amid claims he is leaving Liverpool for Juventus.
Can’s contract at Liverpool expires at the end of the season and he is currently free to sign a pre-contract deal with a foreign club.
Sky Italia had claimed earlier this month that Can has an agreement in principle with Juventus.
Can played a crucial role for Liverpool in their win over Manchester City at the weekend, showing what a big miss he could be for the Reds.
The German midfielder has now spoken out on his future, and says he has not signed anything yet.
He is quoted by The Guardian: “My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer. I haven’t signed anything with anyone. I am talking with everyone. Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club.
“What can I say? My agent does the rest. I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team.”
Can is not committing either way just yet, and he certainly seems keen to explore his options.
He knows Liverpool have Naby Keita incoming next season already, putting his first team place under pressure.
Can will have to weigh up opportunity along with finances before he signs on, but after the big win against City at Anfield on Sunday, it could be difficult to walk away.
