Udinese ace Piotr Zielinski has been urged to snub Liverpool by Empoli chairman Fabrizio Corsi.

Empoli chairman Fabrizio Corsi has told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli that he thinks Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski should snub Liverpool for Napoli.
Zielinski, 22, spent the last two seasons on loan at Empoli from Udinese, hitting five goals and seven assists in the last two seasons for the Italian side.
Now back at Udinese, the Polish international – currently out in France representing his country at Euro 2016 – is in demand off the back of his performances for Empoli.
The Guardian recently reported that Liverpool have submitted a bid of £9.5m for Zielinski, but faced strong competition from Napoli, who are managed by Maurizio Sarri – who coached the midfielder during his first season on loan at Empoli.
A reunion may seem appealing to Zielinski, but the lure of playing Premier League may prove to be too good to turn down; at least that’s what Empoli chairman Fabrizio Corsi thinks.
Corsi has been speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli about the future of midfielder Zielinski, who played 45 minutes of Poland’s 1-0 win over Ukraine on Tuesday evening, and believes the player should snub Liverpool and choose a move to Napoli.
Corsi added that he thinks Zielinski has had his head turned by Klopp, as the LIverpool boss has been pursuing him since the start of 2016, and has been talking to the player about a move to Anfield since January.
“I would advise Zielinski to join Maurizio Sarri at Napoli,” said Corsi. “That’s nothing against Klopp, who has been talking to the player since January. So Liverpool has moved forward, including in the head of the lad, who now has it in his mind to be in the Premier League,” he added.
