Tottenham Hotspur are currently in the midst of a woeful run in the Premier League.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino sat down for his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s trip to Watford on Saturday, and explained how important it is for him and his staff to analyse where his team have been going wrong in recent weeks, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.
Tottenham have really struggled in the Premier League recently, taking just one point from their last three games, and they now find themselves in seventh position in the table – a distant 16 points adrift of Pep Guardiola’s rampant Manchester City side.
The Lilywhtes have excelled in the Champions League, however, and have already qualified as group winners, with one group game to spare.

And Pochettino highlighted the importance of not allowing emotion to affect the manner in which he and his staff analyse Spurs’ recent dip in form, as quoted by Football.London:
“Now it’s to be calm. Try to first assess and be right when you analyse. It’s so important to be calm and not take decisions through emotion. It’s normal that our emotions can be wrong, because all is about results and being happy when you win and sad when you lose. You are so disappointed and frustrated. It’s so important to be right in how you assess the team and why we dropped points in the last few games.”

Tottenham travel to Vicarage Road on Saturday, and the Hornets will surely adopt a physical approach right from the first whistle, in an effort to unsettle the Spurs players.
And Pochettino must ensure that his team are ready for anything that Marco Silva’s men throw at them, if they are to head back to north London with all three points.
