Arsenal came from two goals down to record an entertaining draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
Emmanuel Frimpong was critical of Granit Xhaka on Twitter as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur shared the spoils in an entertaining North London derby on Sunday.
The returning Christian Eriksen opened the scoring inside the first 10 minutes before Xhaka fouled Heung-Min Son inside the penalty area in a clumsy fashion just before the break – Harry Kane put away the spot-kick.
Despite his error, Xhaka remained on the field of play for the entire match, as his team pulled back Spurs’ lead when Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struck on either side of the break.
More chances followed as the game was played at a frightening pace and chances were being created, left, right and centre.
Nonetheless, this is how Frimpong reacted to the game and the key moments during Arsenal’s comeback draw, as posted on his personal Twitter account.
There’s no doubt that Arsenal supporters will be pointing towards Xhaka because he has once again showcased that he doesn’t understand the art of defending.
If Xhaka had not made such a costly mistake then it could have been argued that Arsenal would have gone one to win the match because they did create the most opportunities during the game.
In the end, both teams walk away from the Emirates Stadium with a point to their name, as they will resume their battle at Tottenham’s Stadium in April.
