Former Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has suggested that Unai Emery picks his youth players away from home, after watching the Gunners lose at Molineux last night.

Arsenal’s away record has been awful this season, and Wolves put them to the sword yesterday.

Nuno’s side ripped through Arsenal’s defence in the first-half to score three times, and Emery’s men couldn’t stage a comeback.

Frimpong was clearly frustrated with Arsenal’s away performance, but he also congratulated Wolves for their win.

Frimpong only spent a brief spell with Wolves on loan, after coming through Arsenal’s youth system, but he admitted to having divided loyalties before the game yesterday.

In the match Wolves took the lead early on through Ruben Neves and added further goals through Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota to complete the triumph.

Arsenal did pull a late goal back through Sokratis but it was not enough to stop Wolves claiming the three points, which has lifted them up to seventh in the Premier League table.
