Tottenham are reported to be closing in on a deal for Cengiz Under.
Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have agreed to sign Turkish talent Cengiz Under.
Turkish outlet Ajansspor claim a £7.8 million fee has been agreed for the 19-year-old winger, who is already a senior international for his country.
Under’s club Istanbul Basaksehir have since played down suggestions a deal is done, Ajansspor report, but Tottenham certainly appear in pole position to land the attacker.
Cengiz Under is a teammate of former Spurs vice-captain Emmanuel Adebayor, who signed for Basaksehir earlier this year.

The 33-year-old has recaptured his form at the Turkish Super Lig challengers, scoring seven goals in 12 appearances.
Cengiz Under is a bright talent who joined Basaksehir from Altinodru last summer for just £600,000, and his former club had no doubts he was always destined for the top.
Altinodru sporting director Huseyin Erdogu spoke to Ajansspor earlier this month about Under, and raved about his development.
He said: “His performances are not a surprise for us. But Cengiz is even better, he uses two feet, he is quick, he is very fast, he is difficult to mark, his shot is good and he is assisting.
“Cengiz is now playing comfortably in the top flight. We are proud of Cengiz’s success.”
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy
Under scored nine goals in all competitions this past season and provided six assists.
The winger is a prodigious talent who is turning heads in his homeland with his performances for Turkey’s second ranked team.
Turkish Football even describe him as the Turkish Dybala. If he turns out to be as good, then Tottenham will have bagged a bargain should a deal go through.
