The 30-year-old is a former teammate of Martinelli at Arsenal.
Martinez was on the books of Arsenal from 2010 until 2020 when he moved to Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
The goalkeeper is set to play for Argentina at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar, and he is pleased to see his former Arsenal teammate get called up for rivals Brazil.
