Newcastle United have been linked with the 23-year-old.

Newcastle United were credited with an interest in Roma left-back Emerson Palmieri last month.
The Brazilian defender is struggling for regular football in the Italian capital and speculation had mounted that Newcastle were among the sides interested.
Tuttomercatoweb reported that Magpies boss Rafael Benitez had enquired about the 23-year-old, who has managed 34 Serie A games in two-and-a-half years.

But a new report from Gazzetta Dello Sport surely indicates that United won’t be signing him.
According to the Italian outlet, Roma are looking for around £17.6 million Palmieri, who is also now a target of Juventus.

Unless Newcastle’s takeover is completed this month then it seems very unlikely that Benitez will be able to spend that sort of money on anyone, let alone an unproven left-back.
Paul Dummett is back after missing half the season through injury, but Benitez will still need cover for the 26-year-old and that’s very unlikely to be Palmieri.
