Sunderland are said to be keen to sign Emerson Hyndman on loan from Bournemouth.

Hyndman may only have a limited amount of first-team experience, but his spell at Glasgow Rangers last term showed the potential he has.
The 21-year-old scored four goals and claimed four assists for Rangers, while playing at Ibrox last term, in what was his first taste of regular action in British football.

Hyndman should now be considered a potentially exciting addition for Sunderland, as they look to move away from the drop zone.
The American could add creativity and energy to Sunderland’s midfield, and he would surely offer more than what they currently have.

Sunderland have used youngsters like George Honeyman and Lynden Gooch, and while the pair have shown flashes of quality, Hyndman is currently a better player than either of the pair.
And if Sunderland can complete a deal for Hyndman, he would be a player who could walk straight into Coleman’s starting line-up and improve it.
