Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports posted a tweet involving Harry Kane and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The tweet in question showed a 65-second interview with the Everton No.9 after his two-goal haul in England’s 5-0 win over San Marino.
Sky Sports captioned the video with a question asking if Calvert-Lewin is now capable of challenging Kane for England’s No.9 shirt.
Now, this didn’t go down well with Tottenham fans, to say the least.
They seem furious that Kane’s name has once again been crammed into a debate, seemingly just for engagement purposes.
What makes it even worse is that Kane’s name isn’t even mentioned once during the 65-second footage, so it’s clear what Sky Sports are doing.

Realistically, this isn’t even a valid debate. Of course, Calvert-Lewin is having an incredible season with 19 goals in all competitions for Everton.
However, to discuss him taking Kane’s spot in Gareth Southgate’s starting XI after two goals against San Marino is preposterous.
It’s comparable to Martin Braithwaite scoring two goals for Barcelona, and then the Spanish media asking if he should start over Lionel Messi.

Calvert-Lewin is great, but Kane is arguably the best striker in Europe.
His name is effectively set in stone on Southgate’s teamsheet – Tottenham’s No.10 is an untouchable in every sense of the word.
Let’s see how the Tottenham fans reacted to the tweet from Sky Sports…
