Some fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports revealed that Celtic would not be giving Rangers a guard of honour this Sunday.
It comes after Rangers also refused to give Celtic a guard of honour when they won the Scottish Premiership title in May 2019.
Celtic’s interim boss John Kennedy confirmed to Sky Sports that it had been discussed within the group, and a decision has been made not to honour Rangers.
In fairness, you can’t blame the Hoops after Rangers also decided not to honour them two years ago.
However, some fans of various clubs have been hammering Celtic for their decision.
Celtic have been accused of showing a lack of class from one fan, while others called their decision embarrassing, petty and disrespectful.

Celtic could’ve taken the moral highground and given Rangers a guard of honour despite not receiving one themselves.
However, this bitter, bitter rivalry has now had a new chapter written into it after Kennedy revealed the club’s decision to Sky Sports.
In our view, it’s not that big a deal.

The two clubs despise each other, and seeing as Rangers didn’t give Celtic one in 2019, there’s no issue with the Hoops doing exactly the same.
The fans below are, as a result, making a mountain out of a molehill in our eyes.
Nevertheless, let’s see what they’ve been saying in response to Sky’s tweet on the matter…
