Roy Keane told Sky Sports on Super Sunday that Tottenham and Manchester United duo, Heung-Min Son and Marcus Rashford, were ’embarrassing today.

Edinson Cavani’s opening goal was chalked off after VAR adjudged that his Manchester United teammate, Scott McTomiany, fouled Heung-Min Son in the build-up to that goal – the Tottenham man would then open the scoring himself moments later.

Whilst Keane wasn’t pleased with Son’s ‘screaming’-like antics, which won him the foul, he also thinks Marcus Rashford was doing the same only ten minutes before that VAR incident.

On the other hand, over on Premier League Productions on Optus Sport, Paul Ince offered a different take and he thought the Tottenham man was fouled even if it was ‘accidental’ from the Man United midfielder.

First of all, this was Keane making his feelings clear about the first-half VAR incident, before Ince shared his own thoughts.

“I am amazed really,” said Keane. “I think if this is a foul then we should all go home. It’s really bizarre.

“For a player like Son, just to roll around like that, it’s embarrassing – that cannot be a foul. How a player can stay down.

“And it’s not just Son. To be fair, Rashford done it ten minutes earlier. Both sets of players, rolling around and screaming.

“Referee is under huge pressure. They are doubting every decision they give now. But clearly, he has got this wrong.”

Ince also shared his thoughts on Premier League Productions: “I think it’s a foul. As much as I hate to say it, I think it’s a foul.

“I think he’s actually moved his hand, or flicked his hand towards his face. Was it accidental? Maybe, yes. But does that mean that’s not a foul? I don’t think so.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked utterly perplexed when Cavani’s goal was chalked off, but the former PSG man had the last laugh.

After the break, Man United came back fighting and they looked like a completely different outfit.

Fred was an unlikely goalscorer with the equaliser, before Cavani and Mason Greenwood dented Tottenham’s chances of securing Champions League football at the end of the season.
