Southampton fans have been left less than impressed by Everton forward Richarlison’s tendency to exaggerate last night.

Richarlison has been accused of being too keen to go to ground by multiple observers throughout his time at Everton.

Ex-Toffees boss Marco Silva once spoke about how Richarlison needed to stop diving so much, while Jamie Carragher has also been a critic.

That does not seem to have changed much in Richarlison’s game, though, with the Brazilian still prone to going down fairly easily.

And it’s fair to say that Southampton’s supporters were unimpressed with him in that regard last night.

In defence of Richarlison some of the tackles put in on him by Southampton players were strong at times.

The Everton man has built up a reputation now as one of the players who most likes to go to ground in the Premier League, though.

Richarlison is unlikely to be too perturbed by the criticism from Southampton fans, as it was his early goal that proved to be the winner between the two sides – as Carlo Ancelotti’s side took another step closer to the top four.
