Rangers have seen Alfredo Morelos excel in front of goal this season, but it’s clear that the Gers rely heavily on him to score their goals.

Steven Gerrard has attempted to bring in strikers to chip in around Morelos, such as Kyle Lafferty, Umar Sadiq and Jermain Defoe, but those three have combined for just nine goals this season.

Rangers may well head into the market for another striker this summer, regardless of whether Morelos stays of goes at the end of the season.

One player linked with Rangers last summer was Bosnian hitman Elvir Koljic, who had scored 43 goals in 63 games for Krupa.

Rangers were exploring the Croatian market last summer, and then appeared to heading over to Bosnia as Krupa president Drasko Ilic claimed to BIH Rangers had made a bid for Koljic.

Gerrard then told Rangers TV that no Bosnian players were on the radar, ruling out a move to Ibrox for 6ft 5in hitman Koljic – and he ended up heading to Romania instead with Universitatea Craiova.

Mexico's Jesus Gallardo (L) jumps for a header against Bosnia and Herzegovina's Elvir Koljic during a friendly football game at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on January 31, 2018.

Koljic’s record has been stunning for the Romanian side, hitting 14 goals in 20 games for the club after starting the campaign with eight goals in seven for Krupa.

Now a regular Bosnian international and banging goals in at 23, Koljic looks set for a huge future, and Rangers should maybe look towards the giant hitman for attacking help this summer.
