Former Everton defender Eliaquim Mangala has praised Marcel Brands for his gesture towards Moise Kean.

Kean signed for Everton earlier this week, and Brands presented the Italian striker’s Mother with a shirt in a lovely touch.

The clip has now gone viral on social media, and former Everton defender Mangala was very impressed by the personal touch.

Kean’s arrival at Everton has caused great excitement, with the Toffees attempting to help him feel at home on Merseyside as soon as possible.

Kean looks set to be Everton’s main man up-front this term, as they hope to have ended their search for a goalscorer.

If Kean can score prolifically then Everton may well have the tools in place to push for a top six place.

The 19-year-old is yet to play particularly regularly, but he has shown his quality in flashes at Juventus, where he was often used as an impact substitute.

Everton begin their season at the weekend with a match against Crystal Palace, but it remains to be seen whether Kean will get the nod to start.
