Nallo joined fellow youngsters Koumas, McConnell, Mateusz Musialowski and Kaide Gordon in Klopp’s first-team training session ahead of facing Sparta Prague.

Cole added that Nallo has a ‘high ceiling’, believing that he had the potential to become a star.

Liverpool seemingly agree having pounced to sign Nallo and Klopp even named him on the bench against Southampton last week.

Nallo won’t be featuring against Sparta Prague on Thursday night though.

Liverpool academy reporter Lewis Bower notes that Nallo won’t be eligible to play for the Reds in the Europa League.

Nallo would have either needed to be in Liverpool’s original A-list or accrued two uninterrupted years at Liverpool to qualify for the B-list.

Still, for a 17-year-old to be involved the day before the game, Nallo must be making a positive impression at Anfield and is certainly one to watch.
