Robbie Fowler has paid tribute to Miguel Almiron for his improvement at Newcastle United this season.
Eddie Howe’s side are fourth in the Premier League standings and have only lost a single game from 12 thus far.
One reason for that has been the form from the Paraguay international, a £21 million signing in 2019 [Mirror].
Almiron scooped Newcastle’s Player of the Month award for October after scoring a stunning six goals.
Nobody in Howe’s squad has come on leaps and bounds as much as him and Fowler claims the 28-year-old has gone from an ‘electric mouse’ to a serious problem for Premier League defenders.

He told The Mirror: “At times, Miguel Almiron looked like an electric mouse. Now, there is an end product to his game. All this must be down to Eddie and his coaches on the training pitch. It’s paying dividends.”
Newcastle will go third in the Premier League this afternoon if they win away to Southampton and Spurs lose at home to Liverpool later in the evening.
It’s been an incredible season under Howe thus far and you have to say, it could get even better.
With Alexander Isak and Allan Saint-Maximin injured, Newcastle haven’t got their two best players and when they return, they may find a new king has stolen the throne in the North East.
